From the 13th century until 1772, Starzyński Dwór belonged to an order of Cistercian monks and was the summer residence of its abbot. The monks, in addition to growing fruits and herbs, also ran a sanatorium. Following Cistercian cultivation traditions, we grow flowers and herbs for use in our cosmetics. Wild rose is the true queen of our fridge plantation and a veritable treasure trove of vitamins and antioxidants. The vitamin-C content in the oil of the rose is 30 times higher than in the same amount of lemon juice. Exquisite, cold-pressed rose oil can be found in most of our creams.
Our ecological plantation is home to many ancient trees and it produces 1540 kg of oxygen daily. This amount covers the daily demand for oxygen for 3208 people.
